Continue Listening
Sidewalk Talk™ has come to an end as an organization. But the practice of listening never belonged to any one organization, and it never will.
It belongs to anyone willing to slow down, become curious, and make room for another human being.
We hope you keep bringing curiosity, compassion, and presence into your relationships and community, in whatever form makes sense where you are.
Face-to-face connection does not need a headquarters. It needs people who show up and pay attention.
How to Listen
Our guide introduces the listening practice at the heart of Sidewalk Talk: listening with curiosity and presence, without rushing to fix, advise, or make the conversation about ourselves. It is yours to keep, use, and share.
Use and Share the Materials
Our listening guides and educational materials remain available for communities, educators, facilitators, and anyone who wants to practice listening with greater care.
You're welcome to:
- Download the materials
- Share them with others
- Use them in community settings
- Teach the listening practices
- Adapt the exercises when permitted by the final Creative Commons license
